Job Description
  • Manage Meal Preparation and Catering Services: Lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff to prepare and serve delicious, healthy meals to our residents, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
  • Housekeeping and Laundry Services: Supervise a team of housekeeping and laundry staff to maintain clean and hygienic environments for our residents, adhering to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Relevant Qualification & Experience: A degree in hospitality, culinary arts, or a related field, combined with experience in food service management and leadership.
  • Strong Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage and coach large teams in a fast-paced environment, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Menu Coordination: Experience in developing recipes tailored to an aged care environment, with knowledge of nutritional guidelines and menu planning principles.
  • Food Safety and OHS: Working knowledge of food safety and occupational health and safety standards, with experience in maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Experience in Aged Care: Previous experience working in aged care, with a deep understanding of the unique needs and challenges of this sector.
