">Trading Terms Analyst Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Merchandise Strategy and Vendor Partnerships team. As a key member of this high-performing team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping partnerships with vendor suppliers by analysing data, creating engagement plans, and ensuring trading terms align with business objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyse supplier performance, trading terms income, and cost of doing business (CODB) using Metcash data.
  • Provide informed recommendations for pricing decisions based on historical financial data, cost structures, and competitor analysis.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance, IT, and Merchandise departments to drive value and deliver outcomes that matter.
  • Evaluate vendor proposals, provide actionable insights, and prepare proposals for further engagement and tracking outcomes.
  • Work across Metcash trading teams to ensure alignment with commercial objectives.
  • Provide tracking and progress reporting on Vendor Partnerships team targets.
  • Create new trading terms agreements using Salesforce solutions and offer general administrative support.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Advanced Excel proficiency, Power BI, and Microsoft Office Suite familiarity.
  • Data analysis expertise, cross-referencing databases, and delivering insights under tight deadlines.
