A leading organisation is seeking a skilled Boilermaker to join its team based in Rutherford. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on various projects, utilising their trade skills and industry knowledge to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform operational activities to the highest standard, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of highly skilled tradespeople to overhaul, repair and manufacture underground mining equipment.
  • Provide guidance and support to apprentices, promoting their development and growth within the organisation.
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety protocols and procedures at all times.
Requirements:
  • Certificate III Mechanical Engineering (Fabrication) or Boilermaking Trade Certificate.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong commitment to safety, with a proven track record of adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Experience working with Underground Mining Equipment, including knowledge of machines such as Continuous Miners & Underground Shuttle Cars and their components.
  • Reliable transport and C class licence.
  • High Risk Licence to Operate Forklift Truck.
  • Dogging ticket.
