Role: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and managing HVAC systems, preparing technical documentation, and ensuring that all mechanical installations comply with Australian standards and client requirements.
Responsibilities and Duties:

Design HVAC systems for commercial and residential projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
Perform heat load calculations, duct and pipe sizing, and equipment selection using relevant software tools.
Prepare mechanical design drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
Oversee installation and commissioning of mechanical services, providing technical support to site teams.
Liaise with clients, architects, contractors, and suppliers throughout project life cycles.
Conduct inspections and troubleshooting of systems to ensure optimal performance.
Assist in preparing tenders, cost estimates, and project documentation.
Ensure compliance with Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) and Environmental policies.
Stay up-to-date with new technologies, industry developments, and best practices.

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering (ANZSCO Skill Level 1).
Excellent knowledge of Australian standards and Building Codes.
Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
Eligibility for or membership with Engineers Australia is desirable.

As we expand our engineering team, we are seeking a technically strong and hands-on Project Engineer (Mechanical) to help bring our modular designs to life.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Design and develop custom mechanical framing solutions using 80/20 aluminium profiles.
Interpret technical briefs and engineering requirements from clients and internal teams.
Create accurate CAD drawings, BOMs, and production documentation.
Work closely with manufacturing and installation teams to ensure successful delivery.
Manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and services.
Provide expert technical support to clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage multiple concurrent engineering projects from concept through to completion.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including specifications, drawings, and reports, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Maintain strong attention to detail while meeting budget and timeline targets.
Ensure compliance with relevant mechanical engineering and safety standards in Australia.

Skills and Knowledge Required:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 3 years of industry experience in a project engineering or mechanical design role.
Strong CAD software skills; experience with Glovius is advantageous.
Proven experience managing end-to-end technical projects.
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
Experience with modular systems or aluminium extrusion is highly desirable.
