We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ambulance Transport Attendant to join our team at the Royal Flying Doctor Service. As a key member of our Non-Emergency Patient Transport (NEPT) team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and transportation services to individuals in need.
Key Responsibilities- Perform patient assessments and interventions on-road to ensure the highest level of care and safety.
- Provide exceptional patient care and treatment during on-road transport, adhering to all relevant guidelines and regulations.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Assess the effectiveness of interventions and provide feedback to improve patient outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless patient care and transportation services.
- Diploma of Paramedical Science (Ambulance) or equivalent qualification.
- Experience working in the Non-Emergency Patient Transport sector (desirable but not essential).
- Full Victorian Driver's License and ability to drive in various traffic conditions.
- Availability to work shifts across a 7-day roster.

As a condition of employment, you will be required to provide evidence of the following vaccinations:
- Hepatitis B.

- COVID-19 (2 vaccinations + booster).
