Airport Ground Equipment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Airport Operations Coordinator to join our team.
About the Role:The Airport Operations Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the safe staging and storage of ground servicing equipment and Unit Load Devices (ULDs).
This is a critical role that requires strong communication and relationship-building skills, as well as knowledge of airfield, airline, or ground handling operations and aviation safety regulations.
- Coordinate the safe storage of ground servicing equipment and ULDs.
- Provide real-time support to airlines and ground handling teams at equipment storage areas.
- Audit equipment demand and capacity to improve efficiency.
- Monitor ULD stock levels and coordinate offsite transfers when required.
- Review CCTV footage to ensure equipment security.
- Support contingency planning during peak travel periods.
- Compile reports on stock holdings, transfers, damaged equipment, and other key data.
- Collaborate with teams to improve equipment storage area design and layout.
- Implement a stock control and visibility portal to enhance operations.
- Remove or repair damaged equipment as needed.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Knowledge of airfield, airline, or ground handling operations.
- Familiarity with aviation safety regulations.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
