Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Dairy Quality Management Specialist to join our team at Fonterra Wynyard. As a key member of our quality management team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our quality management systems with a strong focus on documentation. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing, maintaining, and updating quality documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), manuals, and records.
  • Ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and complies with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Conducting regular reviews and audits of documentation to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and feedback for document creation and updates.
  • Supporting the implementation of quality management systems and continuous improvement projects.
  • Training and assisting staff on proper documentation procedures and the importance of maintaining accurate records.
  • Administering document control processes, including version control, distribution, and archiving.
  • Participating in internal and external audits and preparing documentation for audit purposes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A good understanding of food safety principles, quality control methods, and processes.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the food/dairy manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • A detail-oriented mindset with exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Proven experience in quality coordination or a similar role, with a focus on documentation management.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
