Key Responsibilities

Programmed Skilled Workforce are currently seeking a skilled Welder/Metal Fabricator to join their team in Unanderra NSW.

  • Read and analyse blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements
  • Use TIG and MIG welders to create high-quality welds
  • Examine welds for width of bead, penetration and precision
  • Weld vertically, horizontally and overhead to meet project demands
  • Cut, roll, shape, bend, mould, spin or heat metal products to fabricate parts or sub-assemblies
  • Heat treat metal parts and components to enhance durability
  • Set up and operate hand and machine tools, welding equipment to ensure efficient workflow
  • Assemble parts and structures by lining up and joining them using various techniques
  • Finish products by cleaning, polishing, filing or applying protective coatings
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Engineering (Welding Fabrication) or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum of three years' experience in this role or similar
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

The successful candidate will have a salary range commensurate with experience. Fulltime positions are available.
