Accounts Payable Officer Opportunity

An exciting chance to contribute to a rapidly growing wholesale business based in Seaford. As a family-owned company, we're seeking an experienced Accounts Payable officer to join our supportive head office team in this newly created position.

In this role, you'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple tasks and deadlines with a sense of fun. Reporting to the Chief Financial Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • High-volume invoice processing daily
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Resolution of supplier queries (disputed invoices, payments, etc.)
  • Manage supplier onboarding, setup, and payment check process
  • Maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
  • Assisting with payment runs
  • Assisting the CFO with additional ad-hoc finance duties as requested

Your skills will include:

Required Skills:
  • Demonstrated accounts payable experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Confident communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a team as well as autonomously
  • Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of Products
