Job Description

The Senior Project Officer role is a key contributor to the successful operations of Statewide Mental Health Services (SMHS) through the provision of high-quality, accountable, and measurable healthcare.

The role supports clinical areas to operate safe, efficient, and effective services in accordance with national standards and SMHS objectives.

The position is responsible for implementing project management approaches to deliver strategic priorities and Agency requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the delivery of Agency strategic priorities and the objectives and outcomes of the SMHS Safety and Quality Unit.
  • Utilize project management strategies to contribute to the formulation and delivery of designated projects.
  • Undertake assigned project activities, ensuring they align with Agency policies, procedures, core business functions, and relevant legislation.
Working Arrangements

This is a permanent full-time day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight.

Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

This selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar vacancies within the next twelve months.
