As a Support Worker your role will be to assist a diverse range of clients including aged and high needs clients with activities of daily living and providing services such as Domestic Assistance, Social Support, Respite Care, Transport, Meal Preparation, Medication Administration and Personal Care at their home and in the community.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and have the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds. You will also need to be physically fit and able to perform tasks that require manual labour.

You will be working independently and as part of a team to provide support to our clients. This will involve assessing their needs, developing individualised plans to meet those needs, and implementing these plans in conjunction with other healthcare professionals.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and has a strong commitment to customer service. If you have a Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability or Individual Support, this would be highly regarded.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living activities
  • Provide personal care and hygiene assistance
  • Support clients with meal preparation and medication administration
  • Accompany clients on outings and social activities
  • Develop and implement individualised plans to meet client needs
