Emergency Veterinarian Opportunity

The Animal Emergency Centre is a growing facility that provides 24/7 emergency and general practice veterinary services.

We are seeking a part-time veterinarian to join our team, working various shifts including weekday mornings or evenings, with opportunities for weekend and overnight shifts.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced emergency setting, providing high-quality clinical care to both general practice and emergency patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical care to general practice and emergency patients.
  • Operate cutting-edge equipment, including multi-parameter monitors and digital radiography.
  • Collaborate with general practice and emergency teams, sharing resources and staff as needed.
  • Manage surgical patients, pre- and post-operative care, emergency consultations, and hospitalised cases.
  • Work with the Vet Director and Head Nurses to develop and refine the role, providing feedback to ensure the position is well-supported.
