Technology Change and Release Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Change and Release Manager to join our team at Greater Western Water Limited. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the transition of digital and technology programs, recommending operational changes, and monitoring the effectiveness of controls to ensure the security, availability, and performance of services.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and maintain the Change Management process, including developing change processes and procedures as required.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure changes are recorded, evaluated, and implemented following our policy and procedure.
- Establish and maintain a GWW Release Management process in consultation with relevant IT and Business stakeholders, including third-party suppliers.
- Develop and maintain the Release schedule, balancing technical dependencies and business requirements, compliance, and other priorities.
- Develop and maintain a positive collaborative team environment, including business and delivery partner(s) for releases.
- Strong understanding of the Solution Delivery Lifecycle and relationship to Change Management & Release Management.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the ITIL best practice framework, with ITIL Certification considered advantageous.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Project Management methodologies, including Agile project delivery, including Continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Demonstrated experience with Service management tools, i.e., ServiceNow, Jira, Git, Jenkins, and Confluence.
- Efficient and effective communication (verbal and written) and strong stakeholder relationship management.
