Diesel Engine Technician

Synaco Global Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Engine Technician to join our team at a leading Trucks Industrial supplier located in Dandenong South.

About the Role:

  • As a Diesel Engine Technician, you will play a crucial role in performing mechanical assembly tasks, utilizing your in-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, general mechanical skills, and proficiency with power tools.

Responsibilities:

  1. Performing mechanical assembly tasks according to established guidelines and specifications.
  2. Utilizing your knowledge of mechanical systems to ensure accurate and efficient maintenance of Trucks.
  3. Demonstrating general mechanical skills to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues as they arise.
  4. Experience using Hydraulic and pneumatic systems on sweepers, vacuums, and pumps.
  5. Operating power tools, including hand tools and pneumatic tools, to complete assembly tasks effectively.
  6. Working collaboratively with the team to meet production targets and deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Solid knowledge and experience of mechanical assembly techniques and processes of Diesel engines.
  • Experience using Hydraulic and pneumatic systems on sweepers, vacuums, and pumps.
  • Strong experience and expertise in automotive mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in using power tools, including hand tools and pneumatic tools.
  • A solid work history, demonstrating your experience and reliability.
  • Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol Screen and Criminal Check.
  • An enthusiastic and positive attitude towards work and a willingness to contribute to a team environment.
