Financial Operations Assistant

The W Sydney hotel is seeking a Financial Operations Assistant to focus on income audit. This integral role will provide day-to-day operational finance support to the wider team and offer an amazing opportunity to play a key role in the pre-opening efforts of the world's largest W Hotel.

This position reports to the Financial Controller and requires reviewing, auditing, and substantiating all revenue, payment, and cash transactions. Daily and monthly reports will be prepared for management according to business policies.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Review and audit revenue, payment, and cash transactions.
  • Document transactions and prepare daily and monthly reports.
  • Cross-functional audits to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and perform data analysis.

This is an entry-level position that requires a keen eye for detail and a willingness to learn other areas of the finance operation. As a member of this cohesive team, you will have opportunities to grow within the business.
