Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish a high-performance culture within the logistics department
  • Model leadership and delegate effectively to ensure knowledge sharing amongst the team
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Oversee the efficient retrieval and processing of air documentation and freight for optimal delivery times
  • Supervise the processing of transactions to ensure speed, accuracy, and improved service
  • Provide DAP/DDP rates to overseas offices to assist in winning ad-hoc shipments
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in the freight forwarding/logistics industry
  • Highly experienced in building and maintaining customer relationships
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Specific warehouse management system skills
  • Advanced computer skills (MS Word, Excel, etc)
  • Awareness and knowledge of current logistics systems/materials handling equipment, exposure to WHS requirements operations, and providers
