Housekeeping Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Team Leader to join our team at Elements of Byron, a luxury resort nestled on fifty acres of absolute beach front paradise. As a key member of our Room Division team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and service in our guest rooms.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising and motivating a customer-focused team to deliver exceptional service
  • Ensuring the cleaning and servicing of guest rooms meets our high standards
  • Training new staff to maintain our high standards
  • Working closely with the Room Division Manager to build and develop a strong and effective team

We require the successful candidate to be available a minimum of 4 days a week and to be able to work all of December and January. The hours are 8.30am – 4.30pm, with a week of paid training provided.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Previous Supervisor or Team Leadership experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and motivate a customer-focused team
  • Well-presented with excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Availability to work all of December and January
  • Experience working within a luxury hotel/resort environment
  • Strong organisational skills with a clear focus on quality and standards
  • Attention to detail
  • Knowledge and understanding of chemical handling
  • Experience with resort buggies and a current drivers licence
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings, weekends and public holidays
