Child Safety Specialist

We are seeking a strategic leader to drive the implementation and continuous improvement of key frameworks in child safety and family violence services.
This role requires a collaborative individual who can cultivate partnerships, engage teams, drive change, influence outcomes, problem-solve, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience in providing child safety and family violence services, as well as knowledge and understanding of Child Safe Standards and Principles, Reportable Conduct Schemes, MARAM, and Family Violence and Information Sharing legislation Nationally.
They will also possess a strengths-based approach to delivering people-centered services, with a focus on empowering individuals and communities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the implementation of new and innovative service models across the social and community health sector.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the roll-out of Child Safe Standards, MARAM, and other state and national frameworks.
- Maintain and review policies, procedures, and risk management frameworks for compliance and effectiveness.
- Provide expert guidance to Executive and Senior Leaders on legislative updates, risks, and best practices.
- Support investigations into reportable conduct and family violence incidents.
- Design and deliver training on child safety and family violence responsibilities.
- Evaluate and monitor performance to drive continuous improvement.
- A strong understanding of child safety and family violence principles and legislation.
- Proven experience in leadership and collaboration.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
