About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Structures to join our Maintenance Repair Overhaul (MRO) Services team, supporting Modification and Depot Maintenance for the P-8 A Poseidon Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain individual qualifications and certifications associated with Cert IV Aeroskills - Structures in accordance with the Boeing Part 145 Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE).
  • Adhere to all approved maintenance processes and procedures, ensuring all maintenance has been completed and that corrective maintenance actions satisfy the task requirements.
  • Carry out aircraft and/or component maintenance duties, including task completion, certification, and finalisation, in accordance with maintenance authorisation.
  • Use equipment only in accordance with authorised instructions consistent with its safe and proper use.
Requirements
  • Hold a Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Structures) - Essential.
  • Hold or be able to obtain a Defence Security Clearance of Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) - Essential.
  • Hold a C class driver's licence - Essential.
  • Demonstrate a sound knowledge of aviation Quality Assurance (QA) procedures and the DASR 145 aircraft maintenance regulatory framework - Essential.
  • Demonstrate a contemporary working knowledge of Work Health and Safety (WHS) practices - Essential.
  • Prior maintenance experience in 737 NG or derivative aircraft - Desirable.
