We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our cybersecurity unit, you will play a critical role in protecting our organization's digital assets from emerging threats.
About the Role:
- You will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing security alerts from various sources, including SIEM, EDR, SOAR, Canaries, and Firewalls.
- Your primary goal will be to identify and assess potential threats, recommend fixes, and coordinate responses with internal and external teams.
- You will work closely with peers and clients to ensure smooth teamwork and support.
- You will also contribute to improving tools and processes while staying updated with the latest cybersecurity trends.
About You:
- You must be a final-year student or recent graduate in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline (graduating by early 2026).
- You should have proven leadership skills through work, internships, or extracurricular activities; strong communication skills thriving in team settings and engaging stakeholders effectively.
- You must possess excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities.
- You should have strong presentation and client-facing skills, committed to delivering quality service outcomes.
- You should have a problem-solving mindset with experience evaluating security incidents and crafting thoughtful responses.
- You should be a self-driven learner excited by cybersecurity, proficient in MS Office and digital tools.
- Australian citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain Defence security clearance is mandatory.
