Job Title: Paralegal Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated paralegal to join our Brisbane Government team. As a paralegal, you will be responsible for supporting lawyers and legal secretaries in the preparation of court documents, conducting legal research, and summarizing records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing support to lawyers and legal secretaries in the Government team.
  • Preparing briefs to Counsel.
  • Preparation of general correspondence and court documents.
  • Compilation of bundles of documents for Court filing.
  • Summarising records.
  • Conducting legal research.
  • Assisting primarily with Administrative Appeals Tribunal matters.

About You:

  • You hold a law undergraduate status in the penultimate year of study.
  • You have a strong academic record and a passion for the law.
  • You are enthusiastic and willing to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • You possess excellent organisational skills.
  • You have exceptional attention to detail.
