Job Description

This role involves providing continuous on-site service by supporting the workshop, office, stock, and personnel. The ideal candidate will work with minimal supervision, value customer service, and be eager to learn tyre fitting skills.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with regular pit and tyre inspections with Client personnel in mine operating areas.
  • Utilize windows of opportunity to conduct services.
  • Maintain high quality and service standards for the Client.
  • Keep the work area clean and tidy before shift changeover and perform daily housekeeping.
  • Lead by example to ensure compliance with site and company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Implement tyre management practices to boost mine productivity and tyre lifespan.
  • Conduct operator tyre awareness and training.
  • Help generate weekly plans based on field inspections.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will have significant experience in fitting heavy earthmoving tyres and demonstrate the following:

  • A valid light vehicle driver's license.
  • Current Work Safe / High Risk Forklift Ticket.
  • Certificate II in Automotive (Mechanical - Tyre fitting and repair Heavy).
  • At least two years of earthmover tyre fitting experience.
