Job DescriptionThis role involves providing continuous on-site service by supporting the workshop, office, stock, and personnel. The ideal candidate will work with minimal supervision, value customer service, and be eager to learn tyre fitting skills.
Responsibilities- Assist with regular pit and tyre inspections with Client personnel in mine operating areas.
- Utilize windows of opportunity to conduct services.
- Maintain high quality and service standards for the Client.
- Keep the work area clean and tidy before shift changeover and perform daily housekeeping.
- Lead by example to ensure compliance with site and company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Implement tyre management practices to boost mine productivity and tyre lifespan.
- Conduct operator tyre awareness and training.
- Help generate weekly plans based on field inspections.
The successful candidate will have significant experience in fitting heavy earthmoving tyres and demonstrate the following:
- A valid light vehicle driver's license.
- Current Work Safe / High Risk Forklift Ticket.
- Certificate II in Automotive (Mechanical - Tyre fitting and repair Heavy).
- At least two years of earthmover tyre fitting experience.
