Operational Excellence Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising project staff to ensure safe, efficient delivery of project outcomes.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety requirements, fostering a strong safety culture, and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Contributing to equipment utilisation while ensuring safe operation and effective maintenance.

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years' experience in project supervision within mining haulage and earthmoving operations.
  • Ideal prior supervisory experience in mining services contractor space.
  • Ideal Section 26 qualification.
  • Completion of BSBWHS411 - Implement and monitor WHS policies, procedures, and programs and BSBWHS414 - Contribute to WHS risk management.
  • Ability to apply and administer Fatigue Management Strategies.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and organisational systems.
  • Good understanding of cost control and reporting.
  • Proven critical thinking and complex matter resolution.
  • High accountability, responsibility, work ethic, and positive attitude.
  • Excellent time management and project delivery skills in fast-paced environments.
  • Proactive leadership championing change and inspiring others.
  • Effective communication engaging all levels of the workforce and external stakeholders.
