Job Description:

Seeking an experienced trust accountant to join a reputable commercial real estate agency based in Melbourne's inner east.

This part-time position offers flexibility and strong remuneration. The successful candidate will have expertise in trust accounting within commercial real estate, with the ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities.

The role involves taking ownership of the full trust accounting function, including end-to-end trust account management, daily reconciliation, and preparing monthly financial reports.

Key responsibilities include managing trust ledgers, processing tenant payments, rent receipting, and disbursing funds. Additionally, the successful candidate will ensure compliance with trust legislation and audit obligations, and liaise with landlords, tenants, and property managers.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in trust accounting within commercial real estate
  • Cirrus8 expertise is essential
  • A high level of accuracy and a solutions-focused mindset
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management experience
  • Immediate availability to step into the role
