About the Job

We are seeking an experienced and passionate career coach to help individuals achieve their employment goals.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in creating tailored job plans for clients, identifying areas for development and upskilling, and supporting them through their employment journey.

This rewarding opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting and building relationships with people from all walks of life, and has experience in coaching, mentoring or case management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Closely work with clients to identify their strengths and weaknesses, and develop strategies to overcome barriers to employment.
  • Create and implement tailored job plans that meet the unique needs and goals of each client.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients as they navigate their employment journey.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in coaching, mentoring or case management, preferably in an Employment Services setting.
  • Ability to remain calm and patient during difficult situations, with experience supporting clients with complex barriers to employment.
  • Strong administrative, compliance capabilities and IT skills, with experience using ESS and JobReady an advantage.
  • Right to Work in Australia, i.e. Australian/NZ Citizen, Permanent Resident or visa with permanent work rights.
  • A current Blue Card (Working with Children Check) or the willingness to gain if successful, with reimbursement provided on commencement.
  • A current and valid Driver's Licence.
  • Willingness to undertake a Fit2Work Police Check.
