Project Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and proactive project support specialist to join our team. This role provides vital assistance across property and capital works projects, while contributing to the delivery of new initiatives that make a real difference in the community.

This is a hands-on and varied position where you will:

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the establishment and coordination of sites across Queensland.
  • Support project managers in the delivery of capital works projects, including property upgrades, solar installations, and contractor coordination.
  • Liaise with builders, contractors, and internal stakeholders – ensuring clear communication and smooth project delivery.
  • Provide administrative support including documentation reviews, compliance checks, and coordination with Health & Safety teams.
  • Act as a conduit in project discussions, helping to keep tasks moving and deadlines met.
  • Problem-solve day-to-day challenges and provide general project support.
About You
  • Experienced in an administrative or project support role, ideally within a construction, property, or capital works environment.
  • Confident with construction/building terminology and comfortable engaging with contractors.
  • A strong communicator who can quickly pick things up, take ownership, and deliver outcomes.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage documentation and compliance requirements.
  • Resourceful, adaptable, and solutions-focused.
The Role
  • This is a 3-6 month contract opportunity to contribute to large-scale property and capex projects while gaining exposure to diverse initiatives.
  • A role combining administration, coordination, and problem-solving where no two days are the same.
