Expert Leader in Emergency and Critical Care Nursing

We are seeking a highly accomplished leader to fill the role of Associate Professor / Professor Emergency and Critical Care Nursing. This is a part-time (0.8 FTE) position with a fixed term basis for five years, and you will have 50% of your time allocated to UTS and 50% to NSLHD.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will provide leadership, fostering excellence in research, teaching, engagement, and professional activities within the School of Nursing & Midwifery at UTS and NSLHD. You will also be expected to promote innovation and research in critical care nursing, allocating your time effectively between both institutions.
Requirements:
To be eligible for this position, you must hold a PhD in nursing or a related discipline, APHRA Registration as a nurse, and evidence of successful leadership in course design and delivery. Additionally, you should have significant experience in supervising higher degree research students and mentoring research supervisors.
What We Offer:
This role attracts a base salary range of $183,507 - $201,165 pa (Level D) or $228,179 pa (Level E), along with 17% superannuation. The appointment will be made on a part-time basis, allowing you to balance your responsibilities between UTS and NSLHD.
