About the Role

Clough is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Procurement Specialist to join our Supply Chain Team on an exciting new project. This role will be based in Karratha or FIFO from Perth.

The Dampier Bulk Handling Facility (DBHF) project involves the construction of a wharf structure to support the export of urea in bulk quantities through the Port of Dampier. The project requires demolition and removal of decommissioned marine structures, land-backed wharf construction, land redevelopment, drilling and blasting of hard and abrasive rock areas, capital dredging, and relocation of blasted rock and marine sediments to designated spoil grounds within the Port.

Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Supporting the Supply Chain Manager and coordinating with corporate procurement to define the strategy for procuring Material & Permanent Systems goods for the project.
  2. Manage the sourcing process, including preparing proposals, contracts, and negotiations.
  3. Manage compliance by analyzing, comparing, and assessing offers and preparing summary tables of final offers and recommendations.
  4. Supporting Regional Supply Chain Managers to create procurement plans to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  5. Reporting activities to manage and mitigate critical issues detected while carrying out the procurement process.
  6. Supporting the Commodity team in defining and implementing commodity strategies.
Your Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 3-5 years' experience in a similar role in multinational contexts.
  • A specialist degree in Engineering, Economy, or Business Management.
  • Market analysis and benchmarking skills.
  • Supply base selection, development, and management.
  • Ability to carry out prime cost driver value analyses.
  • Excellent mastery of MS Office, SAP MM, and ORACLE.
  • Available to travel and stay at worksites and joint ventures.
