Key Engineering Position

We strive to deliver world-class software that enhances productivity for our customers. To achieve this goal, we need a skilled engineer who can shape the technical direction of our ecosystem and marketplace organization.

The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of engineering principles and can collaborate with senior technical leaders to develop long-term architecture that is scalable and flexible.

We are looking for an individual who can bring simple yet powerful solutions to other engineers, leveraging AI and low-code or no-code toolsets to improve builder productivity.

The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping the forward-looking technical direction, ensuring alignment with Atlassian products and platforms, and partnering with principal engineers and architects from other teams to drive exploration of large-scale projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain long-term architecture for Ecosystem and Marketplace
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and design leaders to understand and influence department-level strategy
  • Ensure technical strategy aligns with Atlassian products and platforms
  • Partner with engineers and architects to drive large-scale project exploration
  • Provide pragmatic advice to engineering leaders on investing in long-term architecture
  • Improve software construction quality and code reviews in agile environment
  • Lead and mentor large team of engineers, define operational excellence standards
