Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in our Rhodes or Leppington office. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for leading project delivery teams and managing projects from due diligence through to development application, coordination of designs, and contract administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver projects from due diligence through to development application, coordination of designs, and contract administration
  • Negotiate with stakeholders (clients, authorities, other consultants, etc.) in relation to project deliverables (approvals, applications, contractual matters) to ensure the successful delivery of projects
  • Develop relationships with potential clients and improve/maintain existing client relationships
  • Assist Principal Engineers with forecasted workloads to meet project deliverables
  • Contribute to sustainable profit generation and growth
  • Manage commercial risk and demonstrate responsible judgment
  • Recruit, manage, train, and mentor staff
  • Manage financial targets, including budgets, profitability, etc.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience planning and managing projects through involvement in all stages of project delivery
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
  • Experience budgeting, commercial acumen, and risk management
  • High-level industry awareness and engagement
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
