About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our growing Construction Management team in a full-time and permanent capacity.
This role will be responsible for managing internal and external construction projects for Beon Energy Solutions to ensure that all key deliverables and targets are met. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction management with experience in delivering large-scale infrastructure projects.
The successful candidate will have strong financial and commercial acumen, well-developed leadership and mentoring skills, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effective management and mentoring of Site Managers and Site Supervisors delivering large-scale projects involving multidisciplinary teams (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical)
- Provide effective construction management, having overall accountability for the project site, resources, and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)
- Provide input into the financial management, including specific cost control, variation management, accurate month-end reporting, project forecasting, and scheduling
- Develop and manage effective customer relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare scope for Requests for Quotations (RFQs) to engage subcontractors in line with the project scope and specification
- Ensure that all work activities are undertaken in accordance with Beon Energy Solutions' policies, company practices, processes, and standards
- Implement a safe working culture at all levels and ensure all health and safety policies, procedures, and practices are adhered to at all times
Requirements:
- Current certification and qualification in an Electrical Trade or Construction Management
- Detailed knowledge of the concepts and principles of construction management
- Detailed knowledge and experience in the concepts and principles of subcontractor management
- Detailed knowledge of technical standards, construction practices, and OH&S
- The ability to visualize a completed project before it is built to assess its risks, opportunities, resource requirements, and materials required
- Demonstrable practical application of construction methodology and integration of this into the planning phases of the project
