We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Meat Cutter/Slaughterer. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your expertise and passion for meat processing.

This full-time position requires a minimum of 2 years' experience in boning, slicing or slaughtering duties. A relevant qualification (Cert 2/3 Meat Processing) is highly desirable but not essential. We also value candidates with strong knife sharpening skills, knowledge of quality requirements, and excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for adhering to Workplace Health & Safety procedures, working effectively within a team environment, demonstrating integrity and good presentation, and maintaining a professional work attitude. They will also perform general slaughtering/boning/slicing/sawing duties, work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, and participate in improving daily duties with supervisors.

About You

  • A minimum of 2 years' proven experience in Boning, Slicing or Slaughtering/Sawing duties.
  • Relevant qualification (Cert 2/3 Meat Processing) advantageous but not essential.
  • Knowledge and understanding of different rotations.
  • Proven high level of knife sharpening skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Quality Requirements.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
