Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and review design proposals for slurry systems, tailings pipelines, pumping systems, and related mechanical infrastructure.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on slurry transport and tailings processes within project teams.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers and designers, ensuring high-quality project delivery.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their operational challenges and provide tailored solutions.
  • Support business development through technical input, proposals, and client engagement.
Requirements
  • Degree qualifications in Mechanical Engineering (Chartered status highly regarded).
  • Extensive experience in slurry and tailings systems design within mining projects.
  • Strong background in pumping, piping, and process plant layouts for slurry transport.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead engineering teams and deliver complex sustaining capital projects.
