The role of a Security Team Leader is pivotal in shaping the organisational culture, fostering collaboration and influencing behaviours that promote respect, talent and value.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and mitigate security threats and enhance security controls;
- Develop an operating environment that promotes security intelligence capability to triage, assess, analyse and innovate;
- Oversight the development of security information, intelligence and threat reporting;
- Direct provision of general security advice on physical and personal security and security best practice;
- Make informed strategic business decisions relating to priorities, governance, risks and resource management, ensuring minimal impact on Security Operations;
As a Team Leader of a Personnel Security Vetting team, you will report to the Coordinator PSV and be responsible for providing leadership and direction in the day-to-day operations of a vetting team engaged in the assessment and maintenance of Commonwealth security clearances.
