About the Role

This is a 12 month parental leave cover role supporting the Macquarie Asset Management Business Compliance Team. As a Senior Manager, you will interact with senior business stakeholders across front office and business enterprise teams to assess and liaise with regulators on any compliance incidents.

You will provide advice on a broad range of regulatory issues, policies, key regulations and new product proposals. You will respond to investors conducting diligence on managed funds, manage and respond to regulatory inquiries and analyse the application of regulatory obligations and developments to the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge and expertise in compliance risk management within the Australian regulatory environment
  • Develop and implement effective compliance strategies and recommendations to minimize risks and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential compliance risks and issues
  • Manage and respond to regulatory inquiries and requests for information in a timely and professional manner
Requirements

We are looking for an experienced Compliance professional who has demonstrable experience in a similar role in an Asset Management or Banking environment. You will have strong understanding of Compliance Risk Management within the Australian regulatory environment.

You will possess excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels. A practical approach to problem solving and decision making, with a detail-oriented mindset is essential.
