About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Dynon Rd facility, which includes loading waste into vehicles for transportation to landfills.

Responsibilities:

  • Operation of Front End Loader and Excavator in the Waste Transfer Station
  • Loading of compaction trailers
  • Safe driving and operation of vehicles
  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks as per log book requirements
  • Washing vehicles daily
  • Manually cleaning any spillages

Essential Skills:

  • Front End Loader/Excavator Ticket
  • Current Victorian HC truck license (an advantage)
  • Current Victorian High Risk Forklift License (an advantage)
  • Background or demonstrated ability to understand heavy equipment (mechanical & electrical preferred)
  • Pro-Active & agile
  • Committed and Flexible
  • Knowledge of Workplace OH&S requirements
