Job Summary

Arborcraft is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating plant and equipment, performing manual tasks, and ensuring the maintenance of equipment to prevent breakdowns and stoppages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate plant and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance procedures on buildings, mechanical equipment, and utility systems
  • Assist with the renovation and remodeling of buildings, including repairs and painting
  • Maintain records of scheduled maintenance procedures and obtain estimates for supplies and repair parts
  • Perform inspections of the premises and ensure hazardous conditions are addressed promptly

Requirements

  • Proficient operation of plant and machinery
  • Knowledge of the industry with experience running excavation plant and equipment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high standard of work
  • Persistent approach to time management and a systematic approach to business operations
