About the Role

In this position, you will be part of a dynamic team supporting individuals with disabilities in Lower South Metro. We are committed to providing personalised and people-focused support, fostering meaningful relationships with our customers to help them achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting person-centred plans to identify and work towards customers' life goals
  • Engaging with customers in recreational activities and hobbies
  • Assisting with daily living skills, including meal preparation, housekeeping, health and hygiene, medication administration, and attending appointments
  • Ensuring positive behaviour support plans are implemented and followed
  • Administering duties and maintaining accurate, mandatory daily reports

Requirements

  • Well-developed interpersonal skills for effective working relationships
  • Experience with dementia and associated medications
  • Possession of a valid driver's licence and willingness to use a private vehicle for customer transportation
  • Previous experience or willingness to train in manual handling and medication administration
  • Ability to assist with personal care and domestic duties
  • Proven administration and computer literacy skills
  • Availability to work one of the included roster patterns
