Technical Infrastructure Manager

This role is pivotal in overseeing the strategic direction and operational aspects of network and server environments within Defence contexts.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of technical specialists in designing, implementing, and sustaining software, hardware, data, tools, and processes for ADF mission planning systems in fixed and deployed environments.
- Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and foster a collaborative work culture that encourages growth and development.
- Ensure high availability and performance of physical server and networking hardware by managing maintenance and upgrades.
- Manage system configurations for MPS laptops and servers to ensure seamless operation.
- Coordinate the installation, configuration, testing, and deployment of software and security updates to meet organizational requirements.
- Provide technical expertise in resolving data support issues and ensuring mission systems meet operational requirements.
- Support Defence strategic networks by enforcing compliance with security and accreditation standards.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate program and technical risks within the operations scope.
- Review, verify, and enhance documentation for MPS development and sustainment to ensure accuracy and clarity.
- Ensure project deliverables are met on time and within scope by fostering collaboration with technical staff and client stakeholders.
