Job Description

This role involves providing animal care services to ensure the well-being and safety of our animal residents.

  • Socialise and monitor dogs, matching groups based on their behaviour and personality.
  • Clean and maintain animal enclosures and facilities to prevent the spread of disease.
  • Feed and provide general care for animals, including administering medication if required.
  • Monitor and report any changes in animal health.
  • Adhere to infection control procedures at all times.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • A valid driver's licence is essential.
  • Be an Australian Citizen or a permanent resident in Australia.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience handling animals, preferably in a kennel, shelter, veterinary clinic, or daycare.
  • Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Knowledge of cleaning and infection control procedures.
  • Must be available to work weekends, public holidays, and varying morning shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using software applications (e.g., booking systems).
  • Administrative skills/experience.
  • Strong computer skills.
