
Animal Care Attendant

This role involves providing animal care services to ensure the well-being and safety of our animal residents.
- Socialise and monitor dogs, matching groups based on their behaviour and personality.
- Clean and maintain animal enclosures and facilities to prevent the spread of disease.
- Feed and provide general care for animals, including administering medication if required.
- Monitor and report any changes in animal health.
- Adhere to infection control procedures at all times.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- A valid driver's licence is essential.
- Be an Australian Citizen or a permanent resident in Australia.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience handling animals, preferably in a kennel, shelter, veterinary clinic, or daycare.
- Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Knowledge of cleaning and infection control procedures.
- Must be available to work weekends, public holidays, and varying morning shifts.
- Experience using software applications (e.g., booking systems).
- Administrative skills/experience.
- Strong computer skills.
