Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our project delivery and ensure compliance with project Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in materials management, warehousing, and logistics, with experience working on complex projects. They will be responsible for implementing site materials management systems and procedures, as well as fostering a positive team culture and developing the skills of crew members.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Foster a positive team culture and actively coach and develop crew and individual capabilities and positive behaviors.
  • Work closely with the engineering/technical team to ensure implementation of site materials management systems and procedures.
  • Lead the delivery of scope to comply with Project HS&E requirements.
About the Role

This role is based in our Sydney office, with occasional site visits. Once the project is fully operational, it will transition to a 14/7 roster-based arrangement out of the Central West Orana Region.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong experience in applying health and safety standards to materials offloading and storage facilities.
  • More than five years of experience in warehousing, laydown, and materials management.
  • Materials management experience working in multi-discipline complex projects.
