Finance Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Finance Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting processes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • You will be responsible for recording and reconciling day-to-day accounting transactions, maintaining accurate financial records.
  • You will manage accounts payable functions, including monitoring shared inboxes and invoice matching.
  • You will perform inter-company and inventory reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • You will compile daily profit and loss reports to provide insights into business performance.
  • You will contribute to month-end processes and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring timely completion.
  • You will assist with uploading ticket movements, ensuring efficient data entry.
  • You will provide coverage for other positions as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • You will drive continuous improvement in internal controls and processes, identifying areas for enhancement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • You must have a Diploma or tertiary qualification in Accounting and/or Finance (desired, not essential).
  • You must have minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within Finance.
  • Experience using Openlink Agtech is preferred but not essential.
  • You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • You must have strong computer skills.
  • You must have intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • You must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • You must be able to multi-skill, be flexible, and adapt to changing work needs.
