Private Client Director Role

The Private Client Director position is a vital role within a leading financial institution's wealth management team, focusing on high-net-worth and ultra-high-net individuals. The successful candidate will demonstrate thought leadership, strategic acumen, and client-centricity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop a portfolio of high and ultra-high value complex clients.
  • Identify new business opportunities and establish, develop, and utilize networks of internal and external contacts.
  • Utilize experience and knowledge to help clients preserve and grow their wealth.
  • Personally sanction lending within own delegated lending authorities.
  • Prepare and submit for approval consumer and business lending proposals outside own authorities with full justification for recommendations, including obtaining and analyzing industry and business information.
  • Collaborate with internal specialists to best serve your clients.
  • Identify clients' goals and aspirations through quality conversations and face-to-face meetings.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Previous banking experience dealing with high-net-worth clients and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
  • Previous experience within private banking, business banking, asset management, markets, and/or investment banking, particularly in relation to complex credit/lending/investments.
  • Proven experience with business development and acquisition of new clients.
  • Sound understanding of banking products and services and demonstrated evidence of execution and delivery.
  • Ability to multitask and deliver in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
  • Tertiary qualification highly regarded.
  • Tier 1 RG146 accredited (preferred).
