Medical Scientist - Haematology Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Medical Scientist to join our Haematology Laboratory team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing laboratory duties, including haematology and transfusion diagnostic tests, maintenance of equipment, and active participation in a rotational roster.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and specialized haematology and transfusion diagnostic tests
- Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on automated and manual instrumentation and equipment
- Active participation in a fully rotational roster
- Adherence to standard operating techniques and procedures documented in laboratory manuals
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Laboratory Science), Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Laboratory Medicine) or equivalent degree
- Demonstrated relevant technical skills and knowledge
- Professional attitude and well-developed interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
