Cloud Sales Engineer Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our Enterprise team as a Cloud Sales Engineer. As a trusted advisor, you will integrate CrowdStrike technologies with various cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, and enterprise Kubernetes distributions.

You will collaborate with diverse teams, including strategic cloud partners, open source communities, and standard bodies relating to secure cloud computing. Your contributions will span from establishing technical reference architectures, building training for CrowdStrike staff, and cloud sales enablement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring effective technical field sales coverage of the account base
  • Engaging with core account sales teams to drive strategic account plans and objectives
  • Collaborating cross-functionally to establish key stakeholders and business-line owners
  • Providing feedback to engineering teams on customer requirements and adoption of CrowdStrike products
  • Driving customer and partner meetings through sales calls, relationship building, solution selling, and problem resolution
  • Helping build field enablement documentation and training that is sector specific
  • Providing guidance on complex technical issues utilizing in-depth knowledge of the company, products, industry, and solutions

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in consulting or sales engineering roles, particularly in Cloud and Cyber Security
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes container solutions; experience in Cloud Security Posture Management and Cloud Workload Protection solutions is a strong plus
  • Ability to articulate complex security problems to diverse audiences
  • Technical understanding of incident response, computer forensics, network administration, management, and endpoint security technologies in relation to cloud strategy
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to various external audiences, including C-level executives
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to implement systematic approaches to scale within a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
