Vocational Specialist - Mental Health Services

About the Role:

As a Vocational Specialist in mental health services, you will play a crucial role in supporting young people with mental illness to achieve and maintain sustainable participation in vocational education and employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual placement and support (IPS) vocational services to young people with mental illness.
  • Work collaboratively with the clinical team to ensure young people can achieve and maintain sustainable participation in vocational education and employment.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary level education in a relevant human services discipline.
  • Knowledge and experience in vocational planning and employment lead creation.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of mental health disorders.
  • Well-developed computer, technology, and administration skills.
  • Eligibility to apply for a Blue Card.
  • A valid driver's license.
