Job Overview

Our organization is seeking an experienced and skilled Laborer/Operator to join our infrastructure projects team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a range of heavy machinery and equipment for construction and maintenance tasks

  • Undertake general labouring tasks such as site preparation, excavation, and material handling
  • Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Collaborate with the wider infrastructure operations team to achieve project goals

Requirements:

  • Skilled and ticketed laborers - immediate start with recent experience required
  • Ability to be fit-tested in-house
  • Previous experience in a similar laborer or operator role, ideally within the construction or infrastructure industry
  • Demonstrated proficiency in operating a range of heavy machinery and equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Relevant licences and certifications, such as a forklift licence or construction induction card
  • Own reliable transport
