Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join our dynamic construction team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering a landmark tunnelling project.

As a Mechanical Project Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the set-up and management of plants, equipment, and resources per project requirements and industry standards.

You will work closely with our Tunnel Plant Manager and Plant Manager to coordinate daily plant maintenance, monitor spare parts availability based on project priorities, and ensure safe and efficient inspections and maintenance.

In addition, you will collaborate with our Safety, Quality, and Environmental teams to meet compliance standards, foster effective stakeholder relationships at all levels, and adhere to our company's policies, processes, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and manage plants, equipment, and resources per project requirements and industry standards.
  • Oversee project plants, including EPB TBM, spoil conveyor, MSV, ventilation, backfill grout plant, water treatment, power/water supply, material handling, cross passage excavation plants, and related equipment.
  • Coordinate daily plant maintenance with the Tunnel Plant Manager and Plant Manager.
  • Monitor spare parts availability based on project priorities.
  • Work with the TBM Mechanical Superintendent to ensure safe and efficient inspections and maintenance, keeping reports updated.
  • Collaborate with Safety, Quality, and Environmental teams to meet compliance standards.
  • Foster effective stakeholder relationships at all levels.
  • Adhere to company policies, processes, and procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Relevant safety, construction, and industry certifications and tickets.
