Master Metalworker

A Boilermaker Fabricator is a skilled tradesperson who works with metal to create, assemble, and repair various products.

This role requires a strong understanding of metal fabrication techniques, including welding, cutting, and shaping.

The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well within a team.

We are seeking a permanent Full-time Boilermaker Fabricator Tradesman to join our workshop in Welshpool, Perth.

• Liaise with Supervisor regarding manufacturing requirements
• Perform tasks such as fitting, assembling, grinding and shaping of metal parts within allocated times
• Ensure completed tasks are signed off by Supervisor
• Co-operate with others to maintain a safe workplace
• Maintain good housekeeping practices
• Use relevant personal protective equipment
• FOLLOW guidelines for safe handling and disposal of hazardous chemicals and waste
• Uphold WHS duty of care as instructed by legislation and company policies and procedures

• Relevant Trade Certificate and/or Post Trade Certificates
• Previous experience as a Boiler Maker
• Sound knowledge of standard practices of the trade
• Excellent organisational skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to multi-task and prioritise work
• Obtained all relevant work tickets
• Able to work well within a team
• Adaptable to changing work environment and competing demands
• Ability to work flexible shifts/overtime to meet production requirements
• Strong commitment to WHSE
• Willingness to participate in Continuous Improvement Program
• Able to work within company policies and procedures
• WHSE awareness
