Quality Inspector Role

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting and processing O-rings to meet criteria for quality, productivity, efficiency, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Arrive at work on time and adhere to the company attendance policy
  • Set up, program, operate, and troubleshoot inspection machines and automated packaging equipment safely according to company policies
  • Inspect O-rings and other parts for various defects on the inspection table or belt
  • Perform weigh counting, packaging, and labeling as directed on the job traveler
  • Follow job specifications as detailed on the job traveler and product specifications
  • Record start time and completion time of the job
  • Follow FIFO protocol for inventory rotation
  • Advise supervisor of shortfalls in quality and temporarily suspend inspection or sorting until the issue is addressed
  • Maintain proper housekeeping in inspection areas and around machines during and at the end of the work shift
  • Observe safety and security procedures
  • Cross-train and assist in other areas within the QA department as required

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency working in a computer-supported environment with business software
  • Basic math and language skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
